From architecture to product design.

MFA UX Design student at SCAD who started out designing buildings. I still work the same way: listen first, question assumptions, and shape every journey with intention.

My superpowers

  • I uncover real user needs through interviews, observations, and usability testing, translating raw insights into actionable opportunities.

  • I design clean, engaging interfaces where every detail supports usability, accessibility, and brand storytelling.

  • I lead workshops, co-creation sessions, and brainstorming activities that empower diverse voices and spark innovation.

  • From design sprints to long-term research, I flex across contexts, balancing creativity with constraints.

  • I turn research, journeys, and prototypes into compelling narratives that persuade and inspire action.

Apart from design

Outside of design, I’m passionate about fitness, whether it’s the gym, yoga, or dance. Movement keeps me balanced and sparks creativity in unexpected ways, and I love learning something new every day.

  1. 01 Dance Where I learnt rhythm and timing.
  2. Navyaa painting a golden cityscape on canvas.
02 Painting Taught me patience. I even ran my own store, Orchidentia.
  3. 03 Yoga Balance, on and off the mat.
  4. 04 Volleyball Taught me teamwork and humility.
  5. Navyaa working out at the gym.
    05 Gym Consistency over intensity.

How I work

My process

  1. Ask, then listen

I start every project with questions, usually more than is socially acceptable. Research shows me what people actually need, and I keep coming back to it whenever I hit a roadblock, because the answer is usually hiding in something a user already said.

  2. Build fast, decide carefully

From there I move fast: I use AI tools like Claude to turn ideas into working prototypes in hours instead of days, but I’m the one deciding what’s worth building and what holds up against the research.

  3. Test, and test again

Every round of testing and every piece of pushback makes the design sharper, and I’d rather find the weak spots early than ship them.

  4. Tell the story

When it’s time to pitch, I tell the story behind the design, from the user’s frustration to the moment it clicks, so clients don’t just see what I made but why it matters.
